Full Name: Scott Matthew Hamlin (scotty Bing!) im known as
Age:19
Birthplace: weston-super-mare
1. Favorite place on earth, and why?
It was probably ‘The Flow skatepark’ in ohio, I went there when I was 17 and I had the most fun I ever had on my bike pedaling ass and then just flowing from ramp to ramp airing the shit out of everything. And I loved the jump boxes. That place was insane!
2. If you found $100,000.00 on the street tomorrow, what would you spend it on?
Well, I may spend some of it trying to find out who would leave $100,000 on the floor, But other than that I would invest some of it and then get a place for me and a ladyfriend, Get a dog and have the best bmx riders garden in the world kinda like Matt Beringers! BUT BETTER!
3. Change 1 thing about BMX, what would it be?
Kids not having fun on their bikes and trying to get good. I mean you don’t see Chris Doyle being ratty and “he’s the pro’s pro!” Says Brian Castillo @volume bikes.
4. Complete this sentence: Alienation to me is:
A great relationship between rider and product. I started riding for the company back when they had pretty much just started, I told them what I thought of each product and sure enough the boss was listening and putting my ideas into the products. Alienation is a company that truly is from the rider for the rider. To have so many corporate companys using Alienation after such a short time really shows the quality and effort put into the products. Alienation are everything a bmx company should be.
5. When I wake in the morning, I often think of:
Riding my Bike, Bike riding, Somone very important to me and “Why haven’t I eaten a bag of skittles yet?” then it tends to stay like that all day.
6. Mac or PC?
Mac are soo good, But I have a pc laptop…I don’t mind so long as I can speak to my friends and edit some random friends head onto a funny picture using paint.
7. Do you anticipate having replacement knee surgery by the age of 40?
Yeah sure, I already bent my left leg the wrong way doing a flip double whip…I sure look after myself but It only takes the wrong twist for your ligaments to snap no matter how healthy or muscley you’re are.
8. Worst injury?
Uhm probably my broken shoulder! It was so bad I did a superman flip and landed on my face from about 18 ft! I woke up in hospital 4 days later in the kids ward strapped down with a neck brace on and everything. It was not a good time. But I still got on my bike 4 months before I was supposed to and won some competitions.
