Joey Hill

1.   Favorite place on earth, and why? I would probably have to say Cincinnati because it was where i was born and raised, so a lot of my friends and family are here. Its where Failure is based out of also, so i ride the failure compound a lot and hang out with the beard. And a bunch of awesome local spots are around the area so im content living here.

2.   If you found $100,000.00 on the street tomorrow, what would you spend it on? I would probably give a lot of it away to people who need it more than me so they dont have to work so hard all the time, mostly family. Then get some sweet stuff that i can mess around with ha. I would also try and help people in need with whatever i could. Id buy some stuff for my VW too.

3.   Change 1 thing about BMX, what would it be? I would change all of the hating that goes on for no reason. All people do is talk trash on how gross somebodies style is, or what beliefs they have, or how bad an edit someone put out is, so much other stuff, just way too much drama. Just wish people would concentrate on the one thing bmx should be about, fun.

4.   Complete this sentence:  Alienation to me is: an awesome company that puts out really good product and helps me out with whatever i need. Im extremely happy to be a part of the Alienation family. Most of the guys on the team are already my friends so that makes it even better. Zach knows what he is doing with the company in every aspect and i see it going in such a good direction!

5.   When I wake in the morning, I often think of: going back to sleep because i stayed up the night before way too late playing call of duty 3 on ps3. Game is awesome and addicting ha. failurebikes777 is my s/n so get on there, add me, and get dominated!

6.   Mac or PC? If i had the money, id get a mac. But i settled for a compaq i only paid 500 for so im content ha. I dont really care about a computer. Im on my phone more than my computer for the internet anyway ha.

7.   Do you anticipate having replacement knee surgery by the age of 40? I dont think so, im made of steal so i wont need it. If it does mess up, ill rip someone elses off and sew it on.

8.   Worst injury? 2004 at an MSS contest. Riding afterwards just cruising around and my forks decided to snap off. Busted my head and it left a puddle of blood around me so people thought thats what all the blood was from. Then got rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance while in critical condition to get a cat scan to find out i was bleeding internally from rupturing my spleen so i was rushed into emergency surgery. 26 staples, a week in the hospital, and 2 months in my bed. Sucked but changed my life.

9.   Give thanks – First and foremost, definitely all thanksand glory go to God! He has changed my life and given me hope that i could never find in anything else. Also want to thank my mom and dad for supporting me all these years and not giving up on me for what i wanted to do. Matt at Failure Bikes from helping from the beginning and being an awesome friend/boss. Zach/Tony/Mike at Alienation for letting me be a part of the team and helping me so much with everything. Nate and Tom at Team Blowin It for having such a rad company and hooking it up, Jay at Airspeed shoes for helping put kicks on my feet, And again God for giving me all of the other stuff i just gave thanks for :)
